    From memory I think this model was one of Mike's first good Omegas many moons ago

    Correct, this is the one that really started it for him. They are beautiful pieces with a dial that really does homage to the best of the 30T2RG's
    Equipped with some of the last Cal. 269 that Omega had in stock and a view back. (Mike has a nice 30t2rg installed in his)

    They are out there and not terribly hard to source. Lovely watch though.

    If I bought one I'd seriously consider doing what Mike did and source a redialed 30T2RG movement for it, such a beautiful dial and case deserves the deluxe finished movement.

    I gave serious consideration to doing that myself, as well as changing the to dial to the blue/gold edition, which I have in stock, however in the end I decided to leave it the way it came from Omega. It is quite attractive out the box. ;)
