Hi Forum

i am in chase of a Seamaster JEDI to complete my Star Wars series ( baby Anakin, Anakin, Darth Vader) already , now still 2 to go the JEDI and the Flat JEDI, looking around a stainless steel model is around 2K but with everything to do or imperfect, now there is a stunning JEDI in gold plated that looks like extremely clean and noice, just wanting some good reasons to buy it now 😀))) , generally gold watches are not my moto, but i have to say this one will complete my series in a nice way, what are your thoughts .

OPrice is around 1100$ the watch was services also , nothing to do.

JEDI or not, why do you think the case is in great shape? Have you compared it to other watches?

And for the love of...., stop calling this, or the OP reference a JEDI. If you want to use Maddox naming for these, please refer to the right references only. 😀

Here is my example of the OP watch,(its not a jedi) it is in quite good original condition. The case is supposed to be quite sharp, like mine, the OP has been polished badly. I don't think it will look very nice in real life.

Flat JEDI is not the JEDI , well gold plated watches what I have saw they are washed gold missing this one for me looks pretty clean and consistent , of course in Maddox the reference is 176.004 , was thinking to add it in the first row to complete , but the stainless version still at 3 times the price .

Yes,

There has, and will forever be, only one Jedi and that’s the 145.024 reference that Maddox named together with the Darth Wader and Anakin Skywalker.

It was never named Flat Jedi, and the only reason some started using this naming was due to some error in elderly publications naming the 176.005 erroneously the Jedi, and this in turn followed that some renamed the original Jedi to the Flat Jedi.

The 176.007 has as much with the Jedi to do as hens have teeth. That’s then absolutely and completely bonkers.

Love your Anakin and Wader!
Cool watches, hope to own some myself later in the future.

There are some really nice ones in rotation with the grey dial, just keep your eyes open. Then the silver dial is rare to find in great condition, and my collector grade blue soleil is then in hens teeth category.

Good luck with the hunt!
