1675 Second hard for 5508?

I owned a 5508 for the best part of the past 4 years. There are some imperfections but one of them is the shorten second hands.
Few years back I brought a rusty 1675 movement and it came with a second hand which looked usable.
Is it possible to fit the 1675 second hand be moved and transfer to the 5508?
