Well, I got home this afternoon to a package.

The watch winds smoothly and the day and date change is really snappy. The whole watch is in mint condition and is on an Omega leather and buckle. Tomorrow it is off to my watchmaker to check out the movement and then I'll try and take some decent pics. The seller was nice and responsive and great to deal with. Overall it was a great experience.

I would like to thank all those who helped me in acquiring my new Sparkle. Your help is really appreciated

I have worn this for 2 days now and it is running at around +1 sec according to the atomic clock. My watchmaker checked the winding/ quick set date mechanism and had a peek inside yesterday and gave it the thumbs up. It seems to wear a lot bigger than my earlier Seamaster and has a more modern feel to it. Over all I'm really happy with it. I think a Black dial is next on the list.... the hunt never ends

Nice one. A general black dial?

Thanks guys. I like the speckled black dials with gold index and script so a Seamaster from the early 60s or maybe a Constellation if funds permit
