Just a simple question this time about these references:
I have noticed in certain pictures the faceted date window for these references looks silver toned, while in others it appears gold. Were variations in color tied to the case metal and is making sure that they match therefore something I should be looking out for? Did some searching but couldn't find any discussion of this online.
Here's an example of a stainless steel case with what appears to be a gold toned faceted date window.
