First post here as I've only recently been getting into vintage Omega after my gateway obsession with vintage Rolex. I've been considering the purchase of a 165.024, but I was just wondering if any of you have ever seen an original "top-hat" crystal similar to what I've attached.



Another example:



The crystal has a central Omega logo and definitely appears vintage, but it seems that most examples are fitted with a smooth dome, such as below:



I initially thought the top-hat may have been a service crystal, but WatchCo examples have a smooth dome as well.

Any ideas?

That top watch is mine, and the crystal is a replacement, still genuine Omega, but not a proper dome.
