I’ve always wanted a ‘Bond’ Quartz Seamaster for the simplicity of the grab and go aspect and jumping hour hand however do you reckon there’s still a bit of a future for the 1538? As far as I remember the 1538 was used last in the black seamaster which was discontinued in about 2011/12, I’ve heard that omega guarantee availability of parts for 20 years after a model is discontinued but do you reckon the movement would still be serviceable in say 10 years time?
