Like the Hour-Vision, the Seamaster Planet Ocean Liquid Metal Limited Edition Reference 222.30.42.20.01.001 was a blueprint for the future of the company, a demonstration of how committed the brand was to innovation in materials science. That Superdoc photo! 馃グ

Great review.
Yea he does a great job with watch photography. Incidentally Trev鈥檚 also made some pretty big changes to the stories section to make it easier to browse and added a search facility to the top level navigation on it which works incredibly well (and vastly better than the forum search works). Now that we鈥檙e up to a decent number of articles it makes it a bit easier to find what you鈥檙e looking for.

Love my 1948 Liquidmetal PO, to me it's easily the same quality as a Rolex, especially the dial quality.

Indeed, this model is aging like the Porsche 993 of Planet Oceans. There will likely never be one this thin again, and none of the other thin ones even approach it in terms of finishing quality and design.
