·Good afternoon and Happy Easter,
New member here, I recently received an SMP (196-1503) as a gift, the only issue is that the diver extension doesn't close all the way.
I have seen various other threads where the divers extension bars need to be spread just a hair in order for them to lock into the clasp better when closed. Mine does have that issue, however where the diver extension attaches to the pin a piece of metal has broken off.
It has been taken to a few watch shops in the Houston area who said it needed a whole new band, does that sound right? if just the diver extension can't be replaced can the whole clasp be replaced as opposed to the entire band?
Would I be better off taking this to an Omega Boutique vs a local watch shop?
Thanks!
