I have found this in an Omega advert. What exactly does that mean?
I understand when it states g.f or gold filled and stainless steel back.
Does it mean a solid gold bezel and gold capped? Or all Gold capped?

Many thanks in advance.
Cheers Martin

I would think it means gold capped. Do you have the advert?

Stainless Steel backs appear on Gold Filled, gold capped, or Rolled gold watches. What you are asking cannot be determined without looking at the advert.

In my experience an easy way of recognizing an Omega Gold Cap (CD/Coiffe d'Or) watch is that the back of the lugs is normally stainless whereas they are gold on a Gold Plated watch.

There were rare occasions that solid gold cases had stainless steel backs.

Factory - a JLC Memovox confirmed original by Le Sentier. I sent my contact at the time the serial number and photos including macros of the dial. Gatorcpa had an advertisement showing the model also.
