Five digit references are tricky because they have different case tube sizes.
First thing to do before buying is put that crown on your watch to make sure it fits, then pay for it.
Normally, there are 2 standard sizes for these ( by measuring the crown tubes)
2 mm and 2.50 mm
The thin and smaller crown fits on 2 mm tube and good for 167/168/005.
The bigger one fits on 2.50 mm tubes and good for 4 digit references like 2852 etc...
On the 5 digit references, sometimes we find both sizes mixed and we must measure the tube to make sure we have the right one.
14902/00 is the same as 168/167.005/ but sometimes it has this tube
And only the big crown can fit on that. We can change the tube to 2 mm size and fit a small crown on that, it will look way better.
Please notice that my measurements are on vintage crowns with thin logo.
I don't know anything about the parts number or where to order. The crowns with big and round logos maybe different and the faked ones may fit on both sizes.
The crowns in my pics are not for sale, so please don't ask.
Thanks for reading.
