A match made in heaven - Omega 1069 No.12 w/524 ends, paired with my 1969 Omega DeVille Ref.146.017 - cal.930. You have to love finding the original & proper bracelet for your piece.
So now are there 4 different combinations case/dial combinations? ss/black, ss/silver, ss/blue and gold/gold? Where did the original information about these combos come from? Asking because I have a gold/silver incoming..
Aside from AJTT, this is probably the closest you will find, courtesy of @mondodec and @gatorcpa https://omegaforums.net/threads/full-list-of-omega-calibers-from-1894.42412/
Here's mine, just arrived. Let me ask a question - since I've seen blue dial on this thread, and 2 variation of while dial on steel, is it possible that there are legit gold/white combos?
Apologies for bumping an old(ish) thread, but did you ever find out if the gold case / white dial combo was legit? EDIT: I just noticed that the picture on the Omega website is of a gold/white dial model (although the ref is given as ST146.0017)...
I love these. Ended up with a gold one but the case is now in tip top condition. Hard to find a good one and I had to trust at a distance. The watch needed some work but all ended up ok. I need to give it more wrist time / get it out of storage. .
Recently inherited mine and I love it! Been in contact with Omega to try and get a black leather strap as my dad got a metal strap when he bought it but wasn’t given the original back.
Wonderful! Did you have the case welded and re-plated? If so, do you mind sharing where it was done? I have both the blue and cream dials and would love a gold as well. But the cases are never to my satisfaction… Thanks!
Nothing so clever. It turned out Omega still had some original NOS cases. They are not cheap and I am not sure if they still have them. STS UK who are an AD for Omega got it for me.
