Hi Forum members I have seen this Speedmaster 145.022 which has me interested because of the straight back writing. Having looked at Moonwatch Only it appears to be pretty much all in order but I don't have the experience that the members of this Forum have and would therefore be very grateful for your thoughts. I know you'll say photos are very poor and a movement shot is required but this is all I have currently. I have asked for 5x digits of the serial number and will insist on seeing the movement but what do you think? And thoughts on what one should be paying in the UK, retail? Firm price is just under £5.5k. Many thanks in advance.
Looks ok from those two pics. Is there a ring on the bezel at 1? £5.5k seems steep for the more common type of straight writing caseback (or am I out of touch with current prices?)
I agree it seems priced very high, and it does look like there is a ding on the bezel at 1. Not much else to add without movement and caseback pics.
@250scr has a PreMoon 69 in the FS section here for $4.5k. Or think of it this way $5.5k and a free weekend in NY with that special someone in your life?
The caseback looks good, the dial looks nice and the bracelet certainly seems original. The price does seem punchy, who is the UK seller and any service history etc.
Thanks for all the input, I guess I should stick to looking on the forum rather than London's Mayfair. It's just too convenient for me at lunchtimes!
