I’m fiddling around with Speedys for years. But it was just yesterday when I learned that two different crown tubes exist!

Can anyone help me out with part numbers? The crowns are not interchangeable since one of the tubes is much tighter.

I know the 145.012 SP has improved pushers but I thought all crown tubes were the same 2.45mm in diameter. Crowns with stems are obviously interchangeable

I wonder if it is the gasket inside the crown or dirt trapped in the crown that is keeping the tube from going all the way in

Had the same problem with my 105.003-63. The mounted crown was a later service replacement and I tried to fit a flat-foot crown, but that was not possible. The inner diameter of the tube was to small. So I ordered a new tube for Ref.105.003 and with that new tube it was no problem.
