142.022 -74 with 677 links and an 1469 bracelet?

Recently purchased an omega speedmaster 142.022 -74 as I was try to find as close to a birth year as possible. Found one that seemed to match on Zeitauktion. It has 677 lugs but had read that others swap 633 for those as they fit better. Received the watch and it looked great, but the name is definitely not original as they had stated- it's definitely newer and it's a 1469, not an 1171 as I expected. I'm definitely not happy about the bracelet, but my question is- from everything I read this shouldn't work- the 1469 is a speedmaster reduced bracelet and shouldn't fit. Yet it seems to? Anyone explain how this is possible. Zeitauktion was no help and won't help me source an 1171. Should I return it?

Can you show the clasp cover of the bracelet.
That looks like an 1171 bracelet that’s either had the whole clasp or at least the inner blade replaced, probably due to wear.

That could be interesting. I could source a period specific clasp. Any way to check the bracelet itself for period accuracy?

Ok, it looks like the whole clasp has been changed for one from a 1469. The rest of the bracelet looks like an 1171.

Check the sides of the removable links to see if they use screws or pins. Screws would mean a vintage bracelet. Pins would mean it’s a modern service bracelet.

Hard to be 100% but it does look like pins which suggests it’s a later service 1171 with an incorrect 1469 clasp and incorrect 677 Endlinks (although the 677’s can fit well).

So, complete franken bracelet.
