Wondering what some peoples opinions are on what strap i should put on my 14kt 14381.
This is the band my great grandfather had on it but i would like to change it up.
Brown leather of some kind ?
if so can you recommend any brands ?

Is there some sort of gold bracelet i could search for ?
What do you have on your 14381 ?

Beautiful watch you have there in excellent condition, a little buff of the crystal will do wonders for that dial. A nice thin brown reptile strap with some lighter coloured contrasting stitching to pick out the lume patina would be the way I'd go.

As for bracelet choices then a solid gold 7077 will fit and look amazing, but they are difficult to find loose and in good shape.

Thank you for the input,
if i could find a 7077 in a gold variation9 (thats somewhat affordable) ill likely make the move, they go for quite a bit i see from a quick google search however.

I need 2 straps for ultimately, one for this one and one for a gold tudor i have, so i just ordered this, looks like decent quality and is sustainably made from a surplus of designer leather.

If you are willing to spend that amount of money and can find a gold Omega mesh / brick or BOR bracelet that would be stunning. Otherwise I would go with a nice black or brown leather strap. Black if you want it more dressed up or brown if more dressed down.
An alligator strap would be more dressed up than a shell cordovan for example. (in my opinion)

Would you happen to know which endlinks would go with a BOR on my 14381?

Unfortunately not, I have 70 ends on my BOR to my 168.005 connie if that is any help. But I think the 14381 have longer lugs and probably need other ends.
(Attaching some pics on my below)

Is that bracelet sold without endlinks? They are always hard to scout by them selves.

I think that this will be the incorrect bracelet, the 7 (sometimes called 9) row BoRs were first introduced in the late 60s/70s. I think the 5 row BoR would be more stylistically appropriate for this watch. Do you know what year (roughly) your watch was produced?

Depending on how correct you want the bracelet to be, you can use the following bracelet refs/endlink refs: 1502, 8220 and 1036 with 11 or 14 or 514 endlinks - This is a "5 row" beads of rice bracelet, produced throughout the 60s.

All are relatively common in Gold Filled styles. Solid gold bracelets are available, but incredibly expensive.

My serial number is 18 mill. which i believe dates it to 1961 ?
Yes i of course want it to be as stylistically appropriate as well.. but either way a nice looking omega, gold plated bracelet qould make me happy anyway.

thank you for your kind response and information. I will note down those endlink numbers.
