I think that this will be the incorrect bracelet, the 7 (sometimes called 9) row BoRs were first introduced in the late 60s/70s. I think the 5 row BoR would be more stylistically appropriate for this watch. Do you know what year (roughly) your watch was produced?

Depending on how correct you want the bracelet to be, you can use the following bracelet refs/endlink refs: 1502, 8220 and 1036 with 11 or 14 or 514 endlinks - This is a "5 row" beads of rice bracelet, produced throughout the 60s.

All are relatively common in Gold Filled styles. Solid gold bracelets are available, but incredibly expensive.

I do prefer the 5 "row" BOR now that i look at different examples.

My serial number is 18 mill. which i believe dates it to 1961 ?
Yes i of course want it to be as stylistically appropriate as well.. but either way a nice looking omega, gold plated bracelet qould make me happy anyway.

thank you for your kind response and information. I will note down those endlink numbers.

If you would like it to be as close as possible, the only endlinks which I have been able to satisfy myself were original which came on a 61 watch were the "11" and "12" endlinks. I have seen the 11 endlinks on the following bracelets (which I also believe to be original to the endlinks): 1502, 8220, 1036. I have seen the 12 endlinks on the 8220 bracelet only.

This is not to say that other endlinks/bracelets didn't exist in that period, only that I haven't been able to find them. The other endlinks and bracelets are almost identical, and I doubt anyone would notice (or indeed care) if your endlinks were not contemporaneous with the serial of the watch.

Thank you,
i will keep my eye out for something along those lines.
But i assume, in the end any 18mm end link will "fit" it just may not look right ?
or is that wrong to assume

This watch is best suited to a steel 5-row BOR bracelet IMO. The current one is a 7-row.

Edit: Just realized you’re the OP.. your rail track is also best suited to a 5-row BOR IMO, rather than a 7-row. I don’t have any gold examples of that reference but I’m sure others here do.

Black if you want it more dressed up or brown if more dressed down.

Back in the day, it was usual for brown with gold and black with steel, though of course there are exceptions.

Agree. The curved lug design of the earlier models suits the more curvy five row BoR better than the more angular seven row bracelets

Personally I would never put a solid gold watch on a gold plated bracelet. The difference in lustre will be clear to see.

I have also never seen a rail track Connie on a BOR, I don't think the two designs would work well together, fot me a leather strap or flat link bracelet is the only way to go.

Objection, your honor. Assumes facts not in evidence.

My thoughts exactly. Here's my 18k BOR-ish bracelet with a 18k railtrack Connie. It didn't bother to mount it correctly, but the pics show how busy the combination would be:

After hours and hours last night of searching photos and google images. I have to agree with you. I dont think it will look right. I am going to settle with a nice brown strap for the moment, until i can find a solid gold example that i like enough to purchase.

Thanks guys, you are all appreciated
