    Hi,

I saw a 1036 BOR with 12 end links, is this setup meant for 60s Seamasters and Connies?

    Thanks for your help!

Mostly 50s but some early 60s.

To add - it would work well with 50s Connies and Seamasters, and some early 60s 2846/2849 Seamasters and 14381/14393 Connies. Do you have specific watches in mind?

    Hi,

    thanks for your answer!

I saw a 166.003 Seamaster for sale with those end links and - to be honest - never saw them before.

So is there a great difference to 11 end links?

    Thanks again!

    Have you got a pic?

From memory I think 11's are curved end links on 5 row BoR bracelets for round cased 60's models such as the 166.010 but a pic will help.

Lovely watch and BOR, but I don't think the two belong together. The 5-row type of BOR works with the big curves of the 50s and early 60s models (as per @seekingseaquest above) but this mid-60s case, with its sharper streamlining, is a better fit for the flatter 7-row BOR. That said, not exactly a painful problem to have to deal with!

To illustrate what I mean, here's its 165.003 cousin on the 7-row it came with. Now please excuse me as I have to go and help Mrs E. coordinate her shoes with her handbag....

Thanks Edward, if you have time later, what do you think about the hands?

For the 166.003 I only found dauphine hands either or these luminous ones

for the "T Swiss Made T"

I couldn't find another one with the OP hands.

So they maybe also don't belong to the watch?

IMO those hands on the first watch you posted do not look bad, but I agree that dauphine hands are usually found with this case. So do they belong? I don't know!
