1173 on a Speedmaster?

I have been doing a project mod for a while. 69 SW with mk2 Racing dial and hands. Now done. I recently got an 1173 and decided to try it. I personally like it even if end links have a gap. Wondered what view was from others on it. I could stick an 1171 on it but this adds just a little variety to a custom job.

I’m not actually sure what the 1173 was originally fitted to?

I’ve seen the 1173 on a Constellation.

I think it works well with the Speedy, but the gap between the end link and case would kill me!
