You paid too much. It's brand new and available directly from Omega for less. It should fit your watch but the end links may need minor adjustment.

I'm no expert but the end links are engraved, which is correct but I believe the correct bracelet should be a 1171, not 1171-1.

1171/1 is the current bracelet sold by Omega. 1171 is discontinued. It came in a couple different forms over the years.

I also believe the correct original 1171 should have the Omega logo on the outside of the clasp in a recessed trapazoid.

Hello.

Have a look at the vintage bracelet chart above. I think the correct bracelet for your watch may have been the one with the trapezoid logo, but there may be some overlap with an earlier bracelet model.( If I'm wrong someone will correct me) Have a look at the link below for more information on your Speedmaster reference.

Thanks Skunk, How does one get one from Omega?
They want exact part numbers when you call so you don't waste their time.

Access https://www.omegawatches.com/en-us/myomega/contact-us

VERY POLITELY ask them for the part number for an 1171/633 bracelet in stainless, because you would like to order one.

In a few days, they will give you the part number and a telephone number to call. Call the number they give you and if they give you a "press #" then do that. Have your credit card ready. If they ask if you have an account number, you do not, you are a citizen, not a shop.

The rest should be obvious enough.

I know that a 3010/511 is $450, so I would expect a 1171/633 to have a similar price.

Good luck!

Last year I called my local boutique (45 minutes away from me) and asked if I could order an 1171/633 through them. They gave me a price of $450 and asked if I would like to pick it up or have it shipped to me. I opted for pick up because I knew the end links had to be filed slightly, which they did.

The 1171/1 with 633 links will fit the watch, but it is technically not period correct for a 1971 145.022 because it’s a version of the 1171 bracelet that was made much later. MikiJ and Nonuffinkbloke got it right. The correct version of the 1171 for this watch has the Omega logo set inside a trapezoid on the clasp. This version is no longer manufactured, but used examples are available on eBay and other auction sites and they are also sold and traded on most collector watch sites, including OF. They tend to be expensive. Check for general condition and stretch before buying.

The 1171 was introduced around 1972, there have been at least 3 versions. Confusingly they started with 1171, then went to 1171/1 then back to 1171 (or sometimes (1171/633) which is the current model but not identical to the 70s version, it differs in clasp and in that it now uses push pins. The one on eBay may well be 10-30 years old but it’s not current. There is a premium for the older bracelets on the used market. I do agree a brand new one from Omega is the best option. The current bracelet:

Best is to insert a WTB here in the dedicated section, and wait a bit.

I just called them, gave them the part number and put the order in. $450 + tax. It will be here in a couple days from New Jersey. Thank you so much!
