I've ordered a 1171/633 bracelet for my Ultraman ST2 watch for giving it a proper vintage look. Last evening I read on a thread that it needs to be filed from sides before fitting it on the watch. Is this the only way to fit 1171/633 on a Moonwatch or there is some other way too? Your help will be highly appreciated. Regards

You could file the arch lugs, but I think filing the end links would be the better option...

Yes the sides must be filed in order to fit on the watch. One thing to keep in mind is that the contours of the endlinks do not completely match those of the case so there will be very slight gaps.

BTW, if you have a small wrist, the 1171/633 bracelet has limited adjustability that can only accommodate wrist size as small as 6.5", according to my own experience.

Thanks for your insight. I'll get the end links filed to suit the lug width.
I was having impression that it'll be tailored fit to the modern Moonwatch. I hope you agree with me that it's the best available new vintage looking bracelet for the Moonwatch.

Yes, you need to file the sides, 1mm off each side. And once you do... they will fit on any modern speedy pro.
