My 168.005/6 (cal. 561) crown has a dent. I would like to replace it, but only with an orignal crown. However, Omega doesn't supply the original Connie crown anymore. The offered 'best-fit' doesn't have the 10sided shape and therefore just doesn't sit well with me. Is anyone able to tell me if the below pictured 5mm x 3mm (I don't have additional information) crown is A. an original Omega, and B. will fit the 168.005/6 cal. 561 Thanks in advance!
From Desmond's site: essay on constellation crowns...... The crown pipe of the later cases also did not protrude out as far as the earlier cases, and this enabled a slimmer-line crown to be fitted. In sourcing #4204 (BF 1080) crowns, care should be taken to ensure that the measurement of the diameter of the pipe opening is just over 2 mm.
