·As part of a recent purchase, I received what was described as an unworn genuine Omega stainless steel bracelet. From the only photo (top view) i saw prior to purchasing the package, it most closely resembled the bracelet fourth from the top in the 1171 bracelet section of the “Collector’s Guide) https://www.omegaseamaster300.com/
where it is described as
“Recent replacement (32) 1171/633 laser engraved, nothing on the endlink, Ω in a square, 33.6x16.8mm.”
Once received, the bracelet purchased is most similar to example 4 except that the “32” is replaced with a “70”, “stainless steel” is below the 1171-663, there is no “Omega” stamped below the Triangle and was sent with 633 laser engraved endlink instead of nothing on the endlink.
So my question is whether this bracelet is a newer yet iteration of the 1171 or a very very lazy fake?
The devil is always in the details.
