Hi all!
I’m looking for a nice fit bracelet to go with my 165024. I know the correct fit would be a 1039/516 but it’s getting hard to find one in decent condition for a decent price...
I found this one described as a 1168/633, supposed to be for the Apollo/Soyouz speedy. I like its look way better than more recent bracelets, but have some questions : is it genuine/rare? Would it fit nicely a seamaster 300? Is 550€ a good price for it?
Thanks!

My two cents:

Genuine : it appears so.
Rare : the true apollo soyuz are rare I think, but there is a smaller version that is more common, and often dishonestly passed as the other one. Double check the size.
Fit : I think the 633s fit SM300s but double check by searching through the forum
Price : at 550eur I would expect it to be in much better shape. I bought a few bracelets these last two years from 150-250eur that were much better looking with all links (BORs mainly). I think a new 1171 with endlinks could be useful to you, I don't think they cost much more than that. But the new ones have the trapezoidal logo.

Don't forget to search through the forum, lots of useful threads about this.

It is a good option if you want to go for an Oyster bracelet look. I can confirm the 633 fit the SM300 as I have fitted my 1171 with the 633 end links.

If the 1039 is too pricy, why not go for the Uncle Seiko or Forstner flat link bracelet at a fraction of the price of a 1039? Although these are obviously not genuine Omega, it’s more attractive than the 1168 IMHO.

633 will fit the old Seamaster. As well as the 1380/237 mesh. As 1171 uses also the 633 endlinks, it will fit also. The watch was sold original often with a Tropic strap. This is a nice solution and still available as a rebuilt. Concerning the new US and Forstner bracelets, best solution is the Forstner with US endlinks to fit the lugs ot the watch and gives you the feature of the flexible links. At the other hand, the US is able to mount a Omega clasp if this is important.

Hi!
Thanks for your answers!
It really does seem that the final links of the bracelet are the same width than the endlinks, might it be the real deal? Is it still overpriced then?
About the look, I like the vintage oyster look (rivets/folded, a little less the more recent ones). I love the 1039, I have one on my 145.022-68 but wanted to try something different while paying maybe a little less...😀
