Apols, tried searching here and the wider web (including Omega's own site) to find something definitive and authoritative giving the warrantied accuracy spec for an Omega serviced 1120 movement.

    Grateful for any pointers.

    Thanks! :)

(Reason for question: My 'in service warranty' 2231.5 has been happily running at +2per day for the last 12months. Last week it swung to -2per day. I'm tracking any further change. But the 'swing' has alarmed me. [It's worn 24/7. No change to any of my activities & sports last week])

COSC Specs -4/+6 seconds per day. You're fine for now.

The commonly quoted COSC specs of -4 to +6 range is not the spec Omega uses for their final adjustments and QC procedures.

For the 1120 (and all other recent COSC watches from Omega), the tolerance for average daily rate, measured over 5 positions, is from -1 to +6 seconds per day. Note that how the watch runs on your wrist may vary slightly, in particular if the watch happens to spend more time in a position that runs either fast or slow.

Being one second slower than the slow end of the tolerance might not be enough to trigger an adjustment under warranty, but it would not hurt to ask.

    Cheers, Al

Something of a surprise to me, the watch is now back to +1.6spd!
Activity-wise, nothing's changed, I wear it 24/7, including for regular marathon kayak training (just mention that, as there's a lot of rather unique arm movement in that sport!).
What has changed, I suppose, is the unusual hot weather spell in Europe. Any thoughts or experience on whether an enduring ambient temp swing could cause a gain/loss change that subsequently settles? (I don't remember anything like this happening when I used to wear a 16710, it's a new one to me!

I've heard some of the Omega boutiques have free adjustment available, but you may need to call and verify at your location.
