What do you think of this combo please ? I just used the endlinks that came with the railmaster 60th anniversary and replaced the original bracelet with a 1068.

 

That actually blends nicely. I wonder what it would look like if you polished the outer links and brushed the inner mesh/beads of rice links

 

It would probably be better. However, difference polished vs. brushed is not noticeable in real under the light.

 

Have you tried the 19 mm end links reference 556? They were one option for the 1068 bracelet.

@zoohannover First, I must pay credit to you. You were the one who gave me the idea (of the bracelet)! Then, I went to an OB and got to try endlinks 527. They did not have any 556 or 555. Endlinks 527 are far too short as the pin hole on the lug is quite distant from the case. I have ordered endlinks 556 and will see. But I must say that, for the railmaster and any 60th anniversary, using endlinks that come with it/them suits me well.

 

I must add that, unfortunately, endlinks for the speed, sea and railmaster 60th anniversary do not (seem to) fit with the FOIS or the ck2998s. So for these watches, yes indeed, the endlinks 555 or 556, may be the only options for the 1068 bracelet to fit.
