Hi Forum I have in sight this 105.012 63 that looks good , for me only the hands are not original, the watch was serviced in 2008 last time I suppose is when the got the hands . Any thing else ? Thanks for the advise, price asked 14k USD that too much , I guess close to 10k. Paul
Looks great, but would inquire to the lume originality... I don't think the hands are service hands (at least, not 2008 service hands). Maybe relumed. Still very good looking though.
Interesting, these are the straight 16s, by the looks of it as opposed to the angled ones. If I'm not mistaken, that makes them older, and therefore probably good on a -63.
Saw that one too. ;-) Sadly not in my price range but looks quite nice. The hands do not look like Superluminova. I would rather guess that those are Tritium hands. I would assume that hands that got replaced during service in 2008 are rather Superluminova hands.
The lume looks like excellent James Hyman work, but even if not, it should be disclosed that it has been relumed, by whomever
.. am I wrong? ...but should a 105.012-63 not have a symetrical clutch bridge ? May be the next number of the movement number would be helpful..
The dial: I think the 'PROFESSIONAL' should be a little bit more apart from the 'OMEGA Speedmaster' and the 'SWISS MADE' should meet the outer indices. Doesn't seem to be so, looking at the pictures.
The transitional 321 movement do have a symetrical clutch bridge and the adjustment index of 2nd Generation of 321.. a asymetrical clutch bridge is 2 nd generation from 1964-...
This is how I've seen it whenever I saw one of these: May everyone judge by himself. Maybe exclusively for me even the PRO-font looks different.
Winston is very new and posting an awful lot. If I were a cynic I would raise an eyebrow at this and wonder what he had to sell but to be fair he is clearly knowledgeable and mostly posting good sense. On this matter I am not so sure. That said don’t take his comments at face value bearing in mind what I just said...
