Almost 3 days to go and at $8,800 USD. Wow. EDIT: Seller lists this in his sales pitch. "The last ed white at auction @christies hammered at $27,500 with bracelet and box, excluding buyers premium." Anyone know this for sure?
Saw it, thought the same thing, bezel's not to my liking, I'm happier with the one I already have etc
I listing says the lume on the hands was redone. "... I have matched the hands and refilled with old tritium based non luminous compound to suit the dial and I think it looks fantastic. The dial has some age, but overall in great condition." The markers' lume looks lumpy to me.
Recognize that seller. hands look like they do not match the age of the rest of the watch IMHO. That "unpolished lug" claim is interesting.
Well it's ended early now. It's hard to know isn't it. The seller openly admits that the hands have been matched to the dial, but is the dial original or also refurbished? Given the sellers history, it's hard not to be sceptical.

And let me add this to the mix. Same seller, bought by me and I now have serious doubts about this lume. Posted this watch here when I got it, but think everyone was just being nice about it then.
Is reluming dials any worse than artificially ageing hands? Does it matter as long as there is full disclosure?
So you're only now having doubts after reading other posts about the seller reluming hands on another watch? What makes you think the lume on your watch was tampered with when the most informed members here said it looked fine?
See that's the thing with unscrupulous and greedy watch sellers. Redials are technically original dials Coffee /Cooked lume is technically original lume
