Looks like a very nice example. Correct everything and a good balance between condition and patina. The only thing I would say is that it looks like a well prepared watch, which has possibly had a slight case refinish, albeit a decent one. If you wanted a good, original barn find, this probably isn't it. If you want a great watch that has the correct period parts in good condition, this may well be it. Just depends on the price....
Agree with Davidt - it looks like a really clean example. Hard to tell how polished the case is because of the soft lighting. 24xx serial also, so that correctly dates it to the end of the straight lugs and the '65 year in particular. I echo the point about the preparation. It's in great shape and I'm guessing the ask isn't cheap. Prices have been steadily rising, so make sure to take a look at the market versus the price on this.
Looks pretty good to me. My only little nit is the bezel is super minty compared to the rest of the watch so looks a little off balanced---not a big deal at all.
The case back has had a heavy polish..... it would seem ! The definition of the double angled bevel has been lost and a heavy cut into the open slots for removal. This would tell me the case has had plenty of work!
I know a lot of people put the dial as the most important piece of a watch by a long way. I agree, but I put the case as a very close second. For me the case has to be sharp and preferably unpolished. Scratches and all. In these models, the small, narrow bevels on the top of the lugs (or the lack of them) is a giveaway and it would gradually drive me crazy if they weren't there. You cannot afford to be this picky in some models. In the case of 105.003's you can. Just. Unless it was a good price (and I'm guessing it's priced strongly), I'd pass. Then again, I know some people aren't as anal about cases and I can see why a lot of folk would move on this example.
I took the pics out because I didn't mean to advert anything. (just realised I got the comment wrong. sorry) The asking price was reasonable -> €4800,- Unfortunatelly I didn' get it. The seller responed very slow... It was listed on chrono so most likely he had to respond to a lot of people I'm really looking for a decent 105.003/002 but nice ones are really hard to find. 002s are borderline impossible. And if a good example appears I'm too slow... PoA are always kind of an auction imho Edit: here is the Link https://www.chrono24.de/omega/speed...=1&dosearch=true&urlSubpath=/search/index.htm
