I've been getting annoyed more and more with my 7912 bracelet of late so ordered a custom 19mm Horween Shell Cordovan strap from jankoxxx http://omegaforums.net/threads/fs-horween-shell-cordovan-straps.11837/

This is colour number 8, longer than usual, and 19mm fitment for the straight-lug Speedmaster. Now I'm a person that hates most straps especially thick ones, as I like flexible and supple, and I was extremely impressed by this one. I've never had a Shell Cordovan strap before and now I understand why people rave about them, it almost feels like latex or wet-suit rubber in terms of its incredible flexibility and suppleness, simply excellent to wear. The 19mm width Jan cut was slightly on the snug side but not excessively at all, just perfect for hiding springbars and giving it a flush fitment.

Jan was quick to make it, shipped out rapidly, and it arrived very quickly, so I'm quite impressed with him as a seller, and loving my 105.002 all the more now.

Yep. Horween Straps are the best to wear and very very longlasting

On the right it is a Horween Racing strap in Cognac on 2915-3

Think it works well on the A386 too. It's thin so it works for vintage. Like the way it aged after 2 years.

    Very nice indeed!

The a386 has so much going on in the dial and hands that an understates strap like that really works well

I'm also considering placing an order with jankoxxx, but the choices are too many when custom made :)

I will go for a whiskey colured one with white/nature stitching looking like below (the stitching that is) for my FOIS.

The FOIS has 19mm lugs, so strap will be 19mm at lug end. But what do you guys prefer; 19mm also at buckle end (so a straight strap) or one that would be 16mm at the buckle like the FOIS normally has?? The one below is straight which looks good, but what about for a FOIS? Is a narrower one more comfortable to wear?

    Input appreciated :)
