1036/512 BOR on a 168.0061 Seamaster

Hello OF, I recently purchased my first vintage Omega and would like to put a bor bracelet on it. I believe the correct combination is 1036 bracelet with 511 end links, but I am curious if 512 end links would work?

I don't think they're interchangeable, at least looking at this thread. Still according to that thread, 511 are still sold by Omega.
