I saw the the watch at the top with the crown and was like "how in the world am I supposed to tell from that"
Then I realized you were talking about the one actually on his wrist, with just the strap showing.......

A Tom Ford tuxedo with a watch on a brown leather NATO strap! What in the world is he thinking?

He’s not thinking, he’s getting paid to wear whatever he’s wearing. Someone else does the thinking, and we’ll see how sales respond to the effort.

Remember back when Sean Connery showed up in a white tux with a sub and a poorly sized G10 strap.

Anyway in my opinion best actor for the Bond series..😀
Agree. He's by far my favorite Bond. I don't care what people say.

True, even though he earned 39 million dollars with his last Bond movie alone, he's still sponsored for literally everything he wears/drives/does. Quite bizarre.

Not really. That sponsorship is part of his contract. The bond franchise has Omega as a sponsor since Pierce Brosnan, so if you’re Bond you sign up to be an Omega ambassador for the duration of your contract. That’s part of the contract and pay.

Sometimes it’s the opposite, some actors bring their ambassadorship into new contracts, like Kevin Spacey with IWC and Clive Owen with JLC. Other times the studio imposes the relationship like Bond.

My understanding is that he didn’t show up wearing it, he borrowed that watch from one the DP I believe because they thought it was cool and rugged and reflected what Bond really was at heart.

I think after the fact they tried to get a Rolex sponsorship but Rolex declined.

I don’t know if that was reversed for Timothy Dalton who wore a Rolex as Bond or Roger Moore who also wore a Rolex in one of the movies. Specially on the Timothy Dalton case there is a pretty specific set of shots that look like product placement to me.

If memory serves me right on one case the watch bezel was an electric saw and on another a laser? Or maybe the laser was another one and this one had the crown as a hook. I don’t know.... clearly both where Frankens. 😀

Either way it must be super controversial back then to pair a tux with a dive watch, especially on a G10 strap. Same case with Daniel Craig here.

The electric saw was the one with Roger Moore. Don't remember the laser and the hook.

Good to know, thanks!

It looks like he's wearing the watch on the inside of his wrist. Very little view of the lugs and bezel, but it could be a SM300 as in Spectre ...

My guess is that, given this is his final outing, Omega may put one of the newly redesigned SMP Divers on his wrist, for nostalgia. We'll see.

That's what Omega needs to do. Put the SMP back on since it's been redesigned along with DC's last James Bond movie. Rock the rubber strap for some action scenes and the steel bracelet for talking scenes.

I am sure it is the latest model 300 pro, that has to be the next bond watch as that was the timepiece to pioneer the relationship with bond in 94 and seeing this is a special bond film being the 25th and Daniel Craig's last one.

The new SMP with ceramic bezel would make perfect sense. Omega would probably throw in another AT at some point.
