I still remember the day he died. I was at University having a lecture on natural resource management and I looked at a news page during a boring part of the professor’s monologue and it was all everywhere.
Remember Mutual Of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom? Steve obviously watched those. Sad day when he died. What a waste.
Definitely a sad loss. I watched many episodes of his show. He was very entertaining, while teaching a lot. I'm sorry his family has had to deal with his death -- especially the kids -- but it is good to see they were able to keep things moving forward.
Quite sad that PETA tried to taint Steve’s death by saying that he was harming the ray that killed him
Must admit he was the best at bringing attention to the need for quarantine and bio security of our agricultural resources. Quarantine matters campaign for the Department of Agriculture in Australia.
