Longbow, your pictures are stunning. May I know which brand or type of camera did the magic?

    Thanks D.D..
The majority were shot with my iPhone SE in daylight, but a few were taken with a Ricoh GR Digital 4.
Any magic is down to Omega (or maybe it’s more witchcraft).

Well anyone looking for an in-depth review doesn’t need to look much further. I love the look and think the re-editions are tool watch heaven. Is it me is the lug to lug length a bit long at 48mm? I get and appreciate the comment of looking both vintage and modern but if they lopped off a mm on each end....maybe it’s simply my challenge as I have small wrists.

Thanks for taking the time to put this altogether and I agree about it being okay to get the day to day scuffs on this one...seems fitting for a tool watch and looks good!

Always love your reviews. You convinced me to get the globe master and I guess we have similar tastes because I bought the RM without seeing this post. Though I probably would have debated my purchase less if I had read it!

Great watch and great review. Vintage look + cutting edge technology = win. I bought the SM instead because it's practically the same watch plus a bezel and better water resistance for only $200 more. But later down the road I wouldn't mind getting a RM just for the minimalist look and feel.

Thanks for the kind words about the reviews and sorry for helping you shrink your bank balance.

As for similar tastes I wonder. There are quite a few other watches floating around in my collection, so there's a bit more to it that just GM/RM. Let's see. Did you check out this yet?

I should warn you though, if you do indeed have similar tastes this one might completely mess with your head and your general view of luxury watches….it will be one of those blue pill vs red pill moments.

Thanks! But generally I'm with you; the SE's camera sucks.

In terms of wrist-time not well at all, like all the other watches in my collection since the beginning of September 2018, on account of my Christopher Ward.

82179648-6F0F-48D8-AF68-55CA423679BC.jpeg ] Hi folks, I have literally just joined the forum and this is the first listing that I have read. I was attracted to it because of the subject. I too find the Railmaster the best of the trilogy. I have the speedmaster which I bought initially on a bit of a whim but thought that the Railmaster might be the dark horse of the group. Anyway I picked one up but fancied a leather strap to better set off patina of the watch. I decided not to use the one that came with the watch and my son bought me a lovey brown leather strap for Christmas. I have to say that in my opinion it sets off the watch perfectly and the clarity of the watch face makes the Railmaster an absolute delight and pleasure to wear and use.
