‘When small is big’ - new Hamilton Khaki Field Murph 38mm

Tried on an original one of these. Really like the design but was just to large. Imo. Great film and a great looking watch.

38mm a much better fit for me. Not sure how I feel about the no morse code though. Weirdly (as it's such a minor detail) I feel it could be a deal breaker.

Don't mean to detract from anyone's purchase. Just the opinion of an Internet stranger so means very little if you love the watch.

Just seems an obvious win to keep the tie in don't understand why they wouldn't??

I'm looking at getting one of these as well and I never heard of the movie before I started looking at the watch so its the watch that attracts me, not the movie, I've wanted a field style watch for a while. From what I understand though the watch in the movie did not have the morse code on the second hand so I can't see what the issue is with the 38mm not having it. Popping into an AD for a look on Wednesday. 😀
