I've used strappedfortime too, they're a great place for breitlings straps.

Hi there,

I'm a strap fiend too; some of my favorite sources:

-http://www.abpparis.com/ the crème de la crème, pricey bespoke straps in anything you like, from stingray to frog skin, to old 1950s baseball gloves; but cheaper internet stock (they invented alligator NATOs and sell some for about 100 euros);
- period correct vintage straps in the US, Bill Mahoney aka Squinky on Ebay -http://stores.ebay.com/squinky?_trksid=p2047675.l2563
- good craftsman out of Spain on Ebay: - http://stores.ebay.com/mansarea/
- Andrea, chilean strap maker - http://www.martuleather.com/ (also on Ebay);
- nice leather zulus out of UK on Ebay) / very personable - Yellowdog watch straps - http://www.ebay.com/sch/yellowdogwatchstraps/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

Huge selections at reasonable prices:
- watchband center (Germany) http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop-watchstrap.html
- StrapsCo in Canada on Ebay (lovely too) - http://stores.ebay.com/strapsco/

Middle straps by Martu Leather and Yellowdog Watch straps:

Great post syrte!

Now I need to sell some stuff...

Is it odd that some of the straps I have cost more than the watches they're mounted on?

😀

So obviously I have had a ton of Omega straps and continue to use them on my pieces, but my favorite straps are the following:

Zulu Diver - 20 and 22mm Natos
Best quality material for traditional-style natos other than Omega or Tudor that I've come across. Hardware is a little lacking in heft but I've put both my straps through the ringer and they've held up. Material is very nice.

Jean Rousseau - custom Coated Nylon Zulu Nato and custom Silver Snoopy-style deploy straps
Have had five straps custom made from them and will continue to do so. Top quality, decently quick turnaround time (if made in NYC, 1 week. If made in France, 2-4 weeks). They are the OEM manufacturer for some of the Omega straps.

Suigeneric - 20mm Waxed Cotton Nato
Funky designs, definitely louder than your typical styles but very high quality and incredibly comfortable. Definitely polarizing, but I'm on the side of Yea instead of Nay

Bulang and Sons / John Paul Menicucci - 20mm Vintage style straps
So JPM is the craftsman and Bulang and Sons / Wactchobsession / Hodinkee are the retail outlets, but either way their vintage straps are some of the best in the biz for a moderately reasonable price. Butter soft, no break in time, and seem to hold up pretty well (so far, roughly 14 months)

I also have a couple of Jankoxxx's straps and they are great. Highly recommended. I love how the shell cordovan patinates. I have had my brown strap for a little over a year and it is only getting better. Next up will probably be a NATO in a lighter brown/caramel/whiskey colour

@yinzerniner what's the going rate for a Rousseau coated nylon NATO? Been thinking about stopping by as I'm in love with the strap on the XI-45

$145 plus tax I believe, unless the brown color is a custom order which I don't think it is. Comes with hardware too which I actually prefer to the Omega hardware. You can mention my name in case you want to see some of the stuff they've made/ordered for me. Their new shop on Madison is very nice and easy to get to.
PM me if you'd like any other details.

I Like StrappedforTime, but I have been buying from Waccex in Germany just recently. Very good quality and a nice price point. I love their RIOS 1931 Nytech straps.

somewhere I saw a link to some straps on E bay that were a human wrist size tribute to the full size velcro speedmaster strap. Anybody know what I'm talking about and might have a link for me?
