    Happy birthday unclebuck..........

I bought at USD 550 at Jakarta Omega boutique, with 3 months waiting time. But then I have to pay heavy shipping, duty and customs if I bought through Amazon.

My copy of AJTT has just been sent from a boutique in Melbourne. They are throwing in a few red pouches also.

If amazon and that other website are out, try the Aussie boutiques they all seemed to have them in stock still.

Very big book, unfortunately not all watches are legit. They have pictures of some Seamaster 300s ref. 165.024 with the dreaded "Stubby" dials for example.

I ordered mine directly from the Omega Museum in Bienne back when the book first came out. They shipped the book wrapped in plastic inside a cardboard box which was then placed inside a massive canvas sack and shipped DHL from Switzerland to California. I should have saved that sack. LOL.

A solid 18ct gold Time Computer 1 from 1973, hundred units produced worldwide, less than 10 known to have survived the early 80s geek watch melting rush, when the price of gold soared

There's one on 324 and 325, the big triangle at 12.

    There's also a ref 14350 on page 279 with a refinished two-tone dial I sold them back in 2005 or 2006.

Right on. Page 324, watch #2828. Page 325, watch #3544. Both are sporting the fake "Stubby" dials.

Omega Boutiques should be able to order the book from either the US distributor or Bienne for list price. At least that's what they told me.

If you pick it up at the store, I would think you could save the shipping.

    Hope this helps,

Just picked up a copy from the Vegas Boutique (at the Bellagio), cost me $400+tax USD, and a bit of arm strain lugging in back to Canada. Gorgeous book-fully recognize that some of the information is not the most accurate, but still a book I wanted in my reference library. If you are in/near Vegas, ask for Joseph (asst manager), who spent over an hour answering my questions, let me try on a number of pieces, and treated me to a bottle of Perrier...can't ask for much more!

Tried that...Joseph only smiled when I suggested that the new Speedy "Tintin" would be a nice piece for me to take home to show off to my Canadian buddies...oh, well!
