Before sending this off to the watchmaker, I thought you might be interested in a couple of photos of a Tissot that I picked up at auction a week ago.

Other than the burgundy bezel, it really does show a remarkable similarity to the Speedmaster. I don't know the age, but the dial seems to be original under a 15x eyeglass and the radium, although shrunken in places is still glowing. To make things even better, it is powered by a Lemania CH27 C12 which, interestingly has both the Lemania serial number and the Tissot one - although the Tissot one is only on the Chronograph bridge.
