Somebody replaced the date wheel with a standard date-at-3 disc. 馃 I'm hesitant to call the dial original. There's something about the inking of LONGINES and automatic that looks rough.

Just another example of how eBay sellers believe that "original dial" means just the slab of metal. It can't be original without the original paint from the factory. 馃檮

Could I ask the experts - what is that brown leaf-like spot near the 4 o-clock marker? Is that on the dial or on the crystal? Thanks!

I've looked at it 4 times and if it's a redial it's among the very best I've ever seen. If it wouldn't nearly wipe out the home improvement fund I'd be all over it. The seller says "hole" but I think they mean "ding" on the caseback as I see it only on the outside and not on the inside.

With only an hour left, you might want to keep an eye on it.

Yeah, it ended with no bids. I think the seller was a victim of his starting price. I'll be waiting for it to be relisted.
