    I hope so! That's the correct scalloped crown as gavin pointed out, the enamel on the medallion looks great, it's the right reference number, and the serial number points to the correct year of 1960. I'd love to know what the offer was, but my guess would be it wasn't more than a few hundred less than asking price.

    EDIT: sent the seller a message asking what the final price was.

    That's what the top condition date-at-3 versions sell up to. You got yours for a very good price. I've seen the date-at-12 models in similar condition sell up to $2600. Well played sir! That means members of this forum own 3 of the 4 date-at-12's I know of with correct scalloped crowns.

    dennis,
    You were right, very happy to hear! I actually thought I was overpaying as I placed my bid lol. After seeing fabersuis-greg's go for 1850. I thought it was worth 2.2 but what do I know:whistling:

    You'll have to let me get my hands on it first;) , but if I ever decide to let it go, ill let you have the first right of refusal. That said, thanks guys. Glad I could keep it within the forum.

    Nice 1990's / 2000's model. IIRC, these sold new for around $4000 back then.

    Looks very good. I'd like to know the movement's serial number to be sure it's from 1960-ish since the 291 with the date-at-12 was only made then, but that's a good watch up to $800 or so.

    Hope someone here grabs it. I would be all over this if I hadn't picked up a gold conquest last week.

    Dammit Norm! ::rant:

    ( :p )

    I was watching that. I need a 19ASD, and even though I'd rather have the white dial version this one was worth a run at.
