    Hi all,

I wanted to share a picture of my fixed up speedy. I bought a pretty beat up one from the forum in February. I had the dial and hands replaced. I then had the dents/dings buffed out (without polishing) and lastly had the movement completely overhauled and a sapphire crystal put on the back. It's essentially brand new!

Looking really nice I personally think if a watch has been used hard it should have a refurb. Some vintage watches are in poor condition just for the sake of originality. Then again nobody wants a watch like triggers brush.

Looks great. I'd love to know how you buff out dents and dings without polishing though!

The dings and dents were mostly on the case back... They are good now.

I have a major illness. I really enjoyed sourcing all of the parts to refurbish this watch...I have worn it for a day and my thoughts are "eh". It's a gorgeous speedy, but I am already looking forward to the next project.

We're going low dollar on the next one:
