I've noticed nothing but perfection on my PCs running Ubuntu.

On my Android tablet, the drop down arrows on the Messages and Accounts main menu are rendered as ⌷.
The tablet is a Motorola Zoom running 4.0.4 and the ⌷ appears regardless of browser, may be a font issue somewhere along the line?

Thanks, good to know it doesn't work on Android. It's just some unicode character I was hoping would have decent browser support. Guess not :)

At the moment I'm cleaning up the styles + working on IE8 support. More love for tablets will come after that.

Much appreciated Trev. I'm on a number of forums and ΩF is clearly the most beautiful. :)

    Trev -

Just let me know when the Win7/IE8 support works and you can switch me back to the new system. Seems to work very well on iPhone Safari and Win8/IE10.

    Thanks much,

    You're in. ;)

I've been adding IE8 support over the past couple of days. It's always surprising just how broken and old that browser feels. It doesn't support anything modern. Regardless, It's already working fairly well now.

Just curious, why are you on IE8? Is it a work thing?

    Exactly! ::shy::

We accountants are very resistent to change. Besides, I can't imagine some of our creaky old computers running well in Win8's touch screen friendly environment.

Our firm is in the process of moving back to a "dumb terminal" system under RDP. Once everyone is running off one set of servers, maybe then we can think about upgrading. That's at least a year away.

    Home is Win8/IE10.

Chrome seems to be working well. I am also on IE10, if you wish me to have a look.

Old computers or operating systems are no excuse for running an outdated browser ;) Chrome and Firefox are free, even IE can easily be updated to a recent version.

Win8/IE10 have been tested, but not thoroughly. Feel free to hammer it and report back :)

Not saying this is the case for your firm, but a lot of guys in those types of roles are there for a reason.

Male, 45+, "works in IT", only just knows his way around a Windows server... has nightmares about the command line. That's a huge generalization, but you do see it a lot. :D

Many of them could be replaced with a few clever scripts and automatically re-imaging the workstations every few weeks.

You're back on ΩF2 now. IE8 should at least offer an acceptable experience now (let us know of any major snags, here or via PM). Thanks ;)

    IE8 is working well.

Just one question on the new format. On the old one, there used to be a feature called "Alerts" that showed the thread on which a member posted that were responded to.

Is that coming back in the new platform? Or am I just blind?

    Wouldn't be the first time.
