Oh my... Longines knew how to make awesome split seconds watches, too?

    ulackfocus, it certainly is. I would certainly prefer to remember the 1960s Longines by this example. Again I stand corrected. This is the very top end of their offerings. The Flagships and Conquests certainly have no issue with their dials.

    Let me clarify that, the very fact that Longines produced 30Ls with that kind of dial, engraved markers, no minute markers, in my 2 cents, is bad taste. Again I might be wrong, but I'm happy to be corrected!

    Well, you're obviously allowed to have your opinion, and there's no right or wrong there.

    …..unless, like me, you say quartz watches are bad in any way - then you get lambasted and labelled as a crusader against batterry powered computer chips that tell time.
