A rare burst of decent natural light in our apartment today meant I could finally get a watch picture from my phone that I am actually happy with.

The new Nokia Camera app provides decent control of focusing and white balance and I've managed to capture the actual colour of the new strap I've just put on my trench watch. On paper the phone has a great Zeiss lens but the colours usually get completely washed out giving less than spectacular results...

The reasonable macro does show both the dial and crystal warts-and-all, but the new strap really suits the Marconi trench watch and the overall effect is rather pleasing:
