    Gemini and speediorite.

    I know braveheart was full of inaccuracies and poetic license but I'm pretty bloody certain there were no kangaroos or wallabies in it....

    What is the point of a LE when it has the standard black dial?

    I prefer the Gemini (wearing it now). And Apollo/Panda.

    I like DSOM, but really can't wrap my head around a ~$10,000 MSRP.

    Agree. That's why I can not stand the high price of Snoopy and Soyuz 1975, which have very close resemblance except minor subdial size difference.

    I'm just a grumpy old curmudgeon, so the only Speedmaster for me would be

    311.30.42.30.01.005

    But I'm perfectly happy with the one I have, even if it didn't come with a huge black box.

    Edit - Sorry, I saw it only applies to "post moon" issues.

    I'll wait until Ω release something I like.

    I thought you like 311.30.42.30.01.006 better? ::confused2::

    Just an FYI----on watchnet there is currently a speediorite up for sale. It's for 5100, which seems insane, but compared to the original price tag, it's not terrible. I think the Apollo 45 year anniversary might be my new grail. It's very, very nice.

    The 2014 new releases this year absolutely call my name.

    If the speediorite is complete with box & paper and in mint condition, that price is very good.

    Cristos nailed it with Apollo-Soyuz 1975 :)

    Coming back to saner levels of affordability I'd add Apollo 13 mission patch and the adventurine moon phase.

    If everyone will be patient, I'll let you know what I find out. I've already started a conversation with the seller as we speak ;-)

    I've changed my tone. There is a risk, but it seems legit on the surface. Seeing as I have a claim outstanding, I'll pass, but it seems decently legit
