What do you think it could be? I can barely make out what the watch looks like. Rolokr, you can do better than that with the cheapest tablet. You need to change the settings to "Macro". Then steady the tablet using a thick book so that you can touch the screen and make the camera focus completely before clicking the shutter. Oh yes, turning off the flash will help greatly. gatorcpa
Futurematic with porthole reserve and seconds indicators, very uncommon to find one in good condition, in stainless steel no less. The caliber 817 movement is not, IMO, one of JLC's finest, and very hard to find parts. I want one. No clue on the strap @ulackfocus - might go well with one of your blingy diamond encrusted beauties though.
I'm traveling visiting my 87 year old mother, I'll try to charge my camera and post a detailed picture. These JL Steel Futurematcs are rumored to have produced 500.
Yes the watch came with no stop lever, these are alwsys usually missing and or broken. Finding this part is almost as difficult as finding an example of the watch ! LOL ! A very cool JL collector out of his heart supplied me with the missing part as well as new old stock hands ! Can't wait to get it all together. Finding the e502 in 18k could be very difficult to find as well as expensive. Last one at auction went for 13750 chf
That's great news! Be sure to bring your camera to the watchmaker and take pictures. Really want to find out if you have a cal. 837 in there. gatorcpa
I got to the watchmaker, my e502 has the 817, not the rarer Cal, 837 . Sad, but it still is rare and one of my favorite watches in my collection! I wonder how many of the p 837 have survived out of the event 500 produced ? Probably not very many !
