I have been looking/waiting/hoping for this for a long time, and it finally worked out. I got married this past Sunday and my [now] wife took my not-so-subtle hints and got me this as a wedding present: I am absolutely thrilled with it, and cannot wait to share some better pictures of it over time in the WRUW thread. It's my first modern Omega (only second Omega overall) and I love the presence it has on my wrist, though I need to have some links taken out - didn't have a chance over the weekend while hosting a wedding. Is that something I can do myself with a small screw driver or should I be safe and bring it to a watch maker? I've searched this and some other forums and seen mixed recommendations. Thanks for the help!
Congrats. Have a great marriage and enjoy the watch. You do realize you will have to hide your future purchases don't you.
Congrats!! The wife will be cheaper than the watch obsession, trust me, I've had three wives and I still have a few of the watches!
Congratulations to you and your new wife! And great watch, one of the great blue dials out there, have had this in my scope for a while now.
