The collector in me couldn't resist this package - it has everything, including the original receipt and all the numbers match. Even the hang tag was still attached to the bracelet! I had Steve / N2FHL give it a gentle once over, including a service of the internals. No polishing was done. He didn't cut the string off the bracelet either, just removed the hang tag when he was cleaning and adjusting the clasp. The bracelet is set for a 6.75" wrist, and one extra link is included. Everything is original - the manual, the box, the whole nine yards - except the new battery that was installed. The watch even passed the 30 m pressure test: There is an inscription on the caseback, and the invoice shows the provenance. It's in excellent shape as it appears to have sat in it's box for decades. This is a US-only model reference A6204 according to A Journey Through Time page 384. As you can see, it's been extremely well preserved and functions exactly as it should. If there are any questions fire away! Asking $1375 Now reduced to $1150 which includes basic USPS shipping within the CONUS and I'll cover Paypal fees. So funny you post this as I was looking for the original marine Omega earlier today. Fantastic find!! It does not come more complete than this. It won't last the year. Wayne
I'm just happy that the original battery didn't leak a drop! Wish I had taken a picture of the guts, and if necessary I can. The internals were in just as good shape from what I saw when Steve popped it open.
Bump - and raising the price to $1500. JUST KIDDING! I know this isn't eBay. Let's make a reduction to $1325.
Vintage Omega Quartz Lover here so...hehe ;-) A nice time capsule for sure ! Are the midlinks solid gold ? I thought they were (gold color underneath too) but there seem to be a couple of chips on the left of the second midlink above the emblem in the last pic?
The bezel is definitely solid 14k gold (it was removed on some for sale...) and generally Omega watches with midlinks that are gold on the inside of the band are too but apparently (based on the two small "black" chips) not on this model, GLWTS.
