I saw this and was immediately rather impressed by it:

    http://evaleube.com/

Eva Leube is actually a female independent watchmaker based out of Sydney Australia, not your typical grey haired old man living in a Swiss cottage. Its a large wrap around watch in a very similar style to the Movado Polyplan, with a curved movement to go with it.

Is this men's or ladies' watch? 52mm x 21mm confuses me to determine...........
One minor minus point: the sapphire crystal edge finish is not perfect.

I love knowing that there's an independent watchmaker creating interesting pieces out of Sydney (my hometown) ::love::
    Thanks for that link, Ash.

Had a quick look at her website. Pretty cool stuff, and along with the hand-made Ari watch she happens to be a Rolex specialist having spent six years with them in Geneva, and then at service centres in Cape Town and Sydney.

IIRC this was introduced 2 years back. I remembered being impressed and she even won some awards if I am not wrong.
