    Hi,

I would really appreciate your thoughts on this Omega Constellation Pie Pan which is up for auction now (condition, value, etc.). The seller has provided the below info.

    Year: 1966
    Case:168.005
    Caliber:564
    24-jewels

In addition, what is the difference in value between a gold cap model like this and one in stainless steel (in about the same condition)?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Andreas

Looks like a fairly decent example. Some polishing to the case, service replacement crown. I would say the steel versions command 10-15% more than the gold capped versions. The solid gold variants are worth much more.

For how much is it up for sale? Or is it an auction?

It is an auction. My best guess is that it will end up somewhere near USD 1200.

In some Asian markets this one could cost you much more than that.(onyx inserts with cross hair dial powered by a 564)
    Make sure to check IF:
Hour markers are onyx inserts, not painted black.
Movement serial number must be in 24 mil range.
    before you buy
